“The quality was outstanding! I cannot overstate that. For the rest of my life your carrots, lettuce, radishes, and cucumber among many others well be held to highest level of comparison to your benchmark. As a family that greatly values quality foods, the importance of your local produce was highly appreciated. Thank you!” - Colin

Our Weekly Veggie Box Subscription or Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Box is the primary way our customers purchase our produce.  Boxes are full of fresh, seasonal vegetables and will vary with the time of year. The first few boxes will mostly be a variety of greens (such as lettuce, pac choy and salad mixes), as well as radishes and green onions, mid-summer and fall brings peas, carrots, beets, broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes, cucumbers, melons cabbages, squash, potatoes and more! Each box will contain 6 – 10 items on average that most customers find foundational vegetables for any culinary pallet. To see roughly what went into our 2025 boxes you can view a pdf here.  2026 boxes will be fairly similar.

Subscribed CSA members get priority on all of our products including speciality products such as melons and corn.

Subscribers can choose a larger box for a hungry household, or they can add extras to their weekly order to include more of what they love (like carrots), as well as select storage or canning veggies and garlic from our farm.

Our CSA program is customizable. That means that we send out a list of what's going to be in our boxes for the week on Tuesday afternoon along with an order/substitution form and a brief farm update. Members can then use our weekly order form to swap out veggies that they don't love for other items that suit their tastes or add additional veggies to their boxes.  We do our best to meet everyone's requests but occasionally have to make substitutions.

Our 2026 season will run for 22 weeks; from roughly the last week of May until mid October. Our weekly box prices are the same as last year but we've added an additional two weeks to our CSA program this year.  We ask customers pay a $50 deposit upon signing up.

The rest of the sum can be paid in several ways:

  • Two instalments paid on May 1st and July 1st.

  • Monthly through the season. (monthly invoices must be paid promptly to avoid receiving produce ahead of payment)

  • The full sum paid upfront.

Planning a vacation? Customers who miss two boxes they are welcome to take the value of those boxes as credit towards storage veggies (potatoes, carrots, onions), purchasing bulk canning tomatoes etc. or additional veg during the season (add extra lettuce or herbs to your box each week).  If you are going to miss more than two we are pretty flexible but it's nice if you either get a friend to take it or we can hold it for you until you are back.

For 2026, box pricing is as follows:

  • Small boxes: average of $30 per week ($660 for the season)

  • Medium boxes: average of $35 per week ($770 for the season)

  • Large boxes: average of $40 per week ($880 for the season)

Early-season boxes are typically worth slightly less than the weekly average, which works well for most customers since spring boxes are heavy on leafy greens. As the season progresses into summer, boxes increase in value to balance this out, reflecting the wider variety of popular vegetables available.

All CSA members receive a 5% discount on all additional produce sold to CSA subscribers through the CSA program as a thank-you for your commitment.

Delivery takes place on Wednesdays. Boxes may be picked up at the following locations:

  • Passmore (farm): after 2:30 pm

  • Crescent Valley: after 3:30 pm

  • Nelson (Uphill and Fairview): between 4:30 pm and 8:30 pm

  • Blewett (if added): between 4:00 pm and 8:30 pm

  • Castlegar: between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm

If you forget to pick up your box, we’ll do our best to send a reminder. Boxes not picked up by Thursday morning (unless other arrangements have been made) will be re-homed.
